Formed in 2010 with three employees, Tailwater Outfitters is now recognized as the premier fly shop and guide service in the State of Wyoming. As evidence, in 2019 we were recognized as the best Fly Shop by the Vail Daily and its readership. We owe our success to four guiding principles.

1. We love the outdoors and we love fishing. It’s what we do. Sharing our passion and knowledge is a constant source of joy and satisfaction.
2. We are dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction on all of our guided trips.
3. Let’s have fun! With the caveat, that it is always safety first, we want you to have fun and enjoy your time with us. We don’t tolerate pretense or fussiness. It’s fishing so have fun.
